Matt Hill- Avant Garde Fashion Photography, Landscapes, and Abstracts

 August 2012 Exhibition
Artist reception August 25th 5-7 pm

Matt Hill has been photographing his fashion designs and environment for about five years. A graduate of the Priory in 2011, Matt currently attends Brown University where he studies architecture and art history.  Matt’s interest in design sparked at the onset of high school when he took tow fashion-related courses at the Academy of Art, San Francisco.  Since then, he credits his endeavors and successes in art to the mentorship of his friends and family and the education he received at the Priory.  Matt has consistently looked to music, visuals from film and printed media, and a handful of lesser-known artists as well as design legends for inspirations.  Artistic themes within his work often examine color, texture, and form above all else.  Matt aspires to eventually build a career in a design based field in the San Francisco area.
